Oral Hygiene Routine

  • Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes with fluoride toothpaste.

  • Floss or use an interdental cleaner once a day.

  • Rinse with a therapeutic (non-alcoholic) mouthwash once daily.

  • If your bristles feel to hard replace them with softer ones as the hard bristles can damage your teeth,gums or dentures.

Dry Mouth & Oral Hydration

  • Sip water regularly throughout the day.

  • Use sugar-free gum or lozenges to stimulate saliva.

  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol, which can dry the mouth.

Diet for Oral Health

  • Avoid sticky or hard sweets.

  • Eat fibrous fruits and vegetables to stimulate saliva.

  • Limit acidic drinks like soda and citrus juices.

    • Drink fruit juices or prune juice as an alternative instead.
